William T. (Terry) Powers, CPA, MST

Terry Powers graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton in 1966; graduated from Stonehill College in 1970 with a Bachelor Science in Business Administration degree; passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant exam in 1974; and received a Master’s in Science of Taxation degree from Bentley College in 1981. Before starting his own practice, Mr. Powers worked for several firms including a “Big Eight” firm and several prominent regional firms. He has been active in his community with activities including past president of the Easton Youth Soccer League; co-chairman of the Easton Schools Athletic Facilities Committee; past treasurer of the South Shore Soccer League; and former member of the Easton Schools FEEE board. Mr. Powers is married to Ann Powers, a Registered Nurse with the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Nurses and Physicians’ Health Study and has two sons and two grandchildren.

Kenneth A. Waitt, CPA

Ken Waitt graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton in 1966; graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and took further courses at Northeastern University and Bentley College, concentrating in accounting, auditing and taxation. He passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant exam in 1978. Mr. Waitt gained his experience while working for a large local public accounting firm. He joined with Mr. Powers on a part-time basis in 1979 and full-time in 1981, when he became a partner. Mr. Waitt is involved in boating and is married to Jean Fallon Waitt of the Sheraton Boston Hotel and has four stepchildren and nine grandchildren.

Nancy Morningstar

Nancy is the person that all of our clients know. She is our receptionist, secretary and para-professional. She performs virtually all of our administrative duties and assists with various other bookkeeping tasks, and processing of all of our tax returns and financial statements. She has had experience with other CPA firms and has been with Powers& Waitt for over 20 years.

Donna Grant

Donna has over 20 years of experience in the bookkeeping, accounting and tax fields. After growing up in New Jersey, Donna spent 15 years in Florida before relocating to Massachusetts with her husband and son. During that time she gained experience as a bookkeeper and accountant with several private firms and public accounting firms. Donna handles many client issues on a day to day basis and is always available to answer questions.

Ron Winston

Ron has over 30 years experience in the accounting field. His experience includes work in both private business and in public accounting. He performs all types of financial statement engagements, is fluent in tax matters and knowledgeable in all aspects of business issues.
