Powers & Waitt is a local full service CPA firm located in South Easton, MA, 20 miles southwest of Boston. The firm was established in 1977. Terry Powers and Ken Waitt have been partners in the firm since 1981. The firm was established to provide quality accounting, financial and tax services to small to medium sized businesses and individuals in the Metro South area of Massachusetts. Our client base is generally within the southern portion of the Boston to Route 495 corridor, but we have clients throughout the Metropolitan Boston area and Cape Cod. WE also service tax clients from California to Florida and many states in between. We have a small, but competent and stable staff.

Our client base includes approximately 200 businesses ( corporations, partnerships, LLC’s, trusts, etc.) in many industries and over 600 individual tax clients. Our clients are diversified in nature and we handle many different types of businesses for whom we provide accounting, tax and financial services, preparation and advice.

Our office is fully automated. We have the newest computers and software available. All tax returns are filed electronically, when possible. We are pleased to announce that we have recently installed an E-file cabinet so that all of our client record can be sorted electronically with a triple safety backup system, 2/3 of which is stored off-site.

Our goal is to provide professional and personalized service to our individual and business clients. All of us are available to answer your questions. We return telephone calls/email messages promptly and our clients are able to deal with and speak with one of the partners whenever they wish.
